Joseph was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his nation during the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Joseph worked for the American Red Cross for over 30 years. He was a member of numerous area car clubs and a Kentucky Colonel.
Left to cherish Joseph’s memory are several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Dawson will be held at 10am, Monday, August 24th at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends and family will be received for visitation Sunday from 2-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy.
The family requests donations in Joseph’s memory be made to the American Red Cross.
