Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Edward Donald Woods, son, Stephen Ray Woods Sr., grandson, Stephen Ray Woods Jr., granddaughter, Jessica Lee Woods, and great-grandson, Erin Chase Spitser.
Joyce is survived by her three sons, Ronald Edward Woods (Kim), Michael Wayne Woods (Nancy), and David Lee Woods (Mary Jo), nine grandchildren, Thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Joyce will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A visitation will occur Monday, November 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 11, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to Kentuckiana Children’s Center, 1810 Brownsboro Rd Louisville, KY 40206.
