She was a member of Bethel – St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Cecil Burd, children, Judy Reid (Jim) and June Whelan (Wayne), Connie Curth (Dale), Dr. John M. Burd (Patty) and Lisa Vogel (Steve). She is also survived by her grandchildren, James L. Reid Jr., (Shelly), Pamela Tonini (Sergio), Karen Nolcox (Tony), Laura Curth, Douglas Curth, Abby Buford, Matthew Vogel, Katie Money (Matthew) and Andrew Vogel. She is also survived by seven Great-grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Juanita’s life will be held at 12 noon Friday, August 29, 2014 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 4-8pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
