She was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua and Minnie Begley; her beloved husband Jay; her daughter Rita Barnes; and her seven siblings.
Juanita is survived by her children, Terry Yankey (Suzie), Stacey Haverly (Greg), and Connie Austin (Clyde); her grandchildren Stephen Austin (Johanna), Olivia Breeden (Mike), Jesse Yankey, Dane Rivera, and Jocelyn Rivera (Max Day); four great-grandchildren; her sister Margaret Tharp; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on October 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40218. The funeral service will follow on the same day at 2:00 pm.
Memorials in Juanita's honor may be made to Highland Park First Baptist Church, Louisville KY.
