June Gayle Alcorn Humphrey, 82 of Louisville, passed, Thursday, February 28, 2013 after a short, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. June was a foster mother for many years having cared for more than 15 children. She was also an avid bingo player.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Jason Humphrey.
She is survived by her children, Kim McKnight, (Rickey), Kathy O’Bryan Shannon, Kevin, (Dana), Kent, (Barbie), John, (Angelia) and Anthony Humphrey; 11 grandchildren, with one expected, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister, Judi Starnes and brother, Michael Alcorn.
Her memorial service to celebrate her life will be Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be held prior to her memorial service from 3-7:00 PM at the funeral Home.
