The daughter of Samuel K. Knight and Laura Markham, she is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Ray Shutt and her sister Mattie Sanders.
She is survived by her three sons, Mike, Mark (Bridget) and Morris, as well as a sister, Evelyn Burton, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Raised in Paradise, KY, she moved to Louisville in the early 1950's. She was always friendly, loved to cook and feed guests. Many people ate at her kitchen table and we'll all miss her Christmas goodies that she loved to pass out. She retired from Sears and the Kroger Co. Kadean was a 60 year member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church.
A graveside service will take place at 11am CST on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Lunch will follow at her farm.
