Born to the late Charles and Laverne Miller, Karen is also preceded in death by her sister, Debra Kay Scorse.
Here to carry on her memory is her husband of 50 years, Robert "Bob" Wartschlager; her children Chris Wartschlager (Linda) and Drew Wartschlager (Allison); her grandchildren, Alexis, Chase, and Emmie; her siblings Mark Miller (Pattibeth), Cheryl Jones (Mike), and Amy Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Karen graduated from Central High School in London, England. She went on to retire as President of a family owned company. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, knitting, and spending time with her beloved grandkids.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218. A funeral service in Karen's honor will follow on Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Karen will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Oldham County, Kentucky, in Karen's honor.
