Kathy Rae Mefford, 68, joined her parents in Heaven on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Kathy loved making beaded jewelry and taking care of her baby Megan. She was a joy to everyone who knew her. Put best by niece, Janet, “To know her is to love her”.
Kathy Rae was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marcia Mefford.
Left to cherish her memory is her baby Megan; siblings, Christine Yocum (Irvin), Billie White (Butch), Bobby Mefford (Kathy), Janet Hammond (Gary), Kim Williams (Terry), Gwen Stansbury (Scott); several loving nieces, nephews, and greats; many extended family members and super friends.
Kathy’s funeral service will be Monday, February 5, 2024 at 1:30pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home – Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. 40219. Visitation will begin at 9:30am until the time of the funeral at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
