He was born to the late Hugh Taylor and Nora Miller Phillips on November 28, 1934, in Mackville, Kentucky.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in passing by his loving wife Emaline Phillips, brothers; J.W. Phillips, Floyd Phillips, Harold Kelly Phillips, and his sister Daisy Phillips Coulter.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Kendall Wayne Phillips (Lisa), three brothers; Happy Phillips, Hugh Allen Phillips (Becky), and Connie Phillips (Peggy), along with two sisters; Dorothy Judd Tarter and Judy O'Keefe (John)
Kendall was a simple man. He retired at the age of 57, after 27 years at Midland Warehouse. He loved golf, was a fan of the UK Wildcats, and he loved to play Texas Hold'em.
A visitation for Kendall will be held Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Kendall will be laid to rest privately within Resthaven Memorial Park.
