

Preceded in death by his Mother, Katherine D. Morgan, Aunt, Mary Burton. He was a family practice Physician. He graduated from Waggener High School, Murray State University, University of Louisville School of Medicine, he was a member of Phi Chi Fraternity where he met his wife Sharon in 1968.
Dr. Morgan served his residency in Fresno, CA, after completion he practiced medicine in Indian reservations in South Dakota. Upon return to Louisville he opened a private practice in Prospect, KY. He was a diplomat for the American Academy of Advanced Medicine, where he co-authored magazine articles with Nobel Peace prize winner, Dr. Charles Farr. His community activities include involvement with Troop 1 of the Boy Scouts where he achieved the status of Eagle Scout.
Memberships include the American Academy of Family Practitioners, Kentucky Academy of Greater Louisville Medical Society, Kentucky Medical Association, Beargrass Christian Church.
Survivors include his loving wife Sharon Morgan, her son Jim Dunn (Lucy) her grandson Jamison, his two children Michael Morgan (Lynnell) and Christopher Morgan (Lillian) of New York, NY. His father Dr. Edgar B. Morgan, brothers, E. Byron Morgan, MD (Genny) and Mark Lewis Morgan (Joni) of Danville, KY, sister Katherine “Tassie” Morgan Sumner (Doug). His 8 nephews, 5 Nieces, one Great-niece Katy Ross Nelson and a multitude of loving family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m, Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Road. Burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m Tuesday also at Arch L. Heady.
