L.A. was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Sharp; son, Kevin Sharp, grandchildren, Stacey Spencer and Tony Cox; and his siblings, Steve Sharp, Laverne Dillo, Virginia Woods, Mary Agnes Sharp, Jerry Sharp, and Charlie Sharp. He is survived by his children, Terri Cox, Connie Strickland(Steve), and Chris Sharp(Cindy); grandchildren, Andrea Cox, Devon Moore(Jereme), Ashley Benningfield(Ben), Cameron Strickland(Lizzy), Derek Sharp, and Stephanie Sims; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Tommy Sharp and George Sharp(Renee).
Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-2pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to Hosparus.
