He was born July 27, 1946 in Louisville to Norman and Margie Holmes Tucker, who proceded him in death. Larry was a United States Army Veteran; a retired Machinist and Millwright with Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant and Reynolds Aluminum Plant 1; and attended Ashby Lane Baptist Church.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Marlene; his sons Jeffery and Matthew Tucker; sister, Cindy Tucker; stepson, Ronald Hare; and a step-grandson, Brandon Hare.
Larry's Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday at Noon in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home at 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
