Willett, Lawrence, E. Jr., 82, entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Larry was a happy man, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He liked to fish, go camping, and fly remote controlled airplanes. He was known for his garden, especially his elephant ears. He was a devout Catholic and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Monica Hagan, Louise Shearer, Agnita Shepherd, Raymond Willett, and Anna Mae Yates.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Rose; children, Rebecca Perkins (Harold), James Michael Willett (Terri), Deborah Trent (Robert), Lola Manginelli, and Joyce Fields (Chris); 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and sister, Jane Theresa Harris.
A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00pm-8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of the customary forms of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to St. Athanasius Catholic Church.
