Lenny was a US Army veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam and Turkey as an MP. He then worked for the Louisville Police Department for the next 30 years. After retiring from Louisville Metro, Lenny joined the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Lenny is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Cecil Logan.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Hurst, his only child Adona Schank and her husband Steve, grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Hallie and Delanie with one great grandchild, Sunnie Raye, on the way, as well as nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 1-8 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 21, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with a second visitation starting at 9 am prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police.
