Linda Gayle Coy

Linda Gayle Coy, 76, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 with her loving daughter by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George Robert Franklin Hoffstetter and Margaret Evelyn Dickens Hoffstetter on November 26, 1947. Linda attended church at Fairmount Baptist Church. She was a caregiver to all, thus having a career in the medical field. Linda loved going to the Derby Dinner Playhouse, her Harlequin Romance Novels, and her favorite music by Elvis, Beach Boys, and Kenny Rogers. Above all Linda loved her family with all of her heart!

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her stillborn son; and granddaughter, Sarah; and her stepfather, Dan Hockensmith.

Left to cherish her memory is her soulmate, Douglas Arlt; children, Donald Estep (Sheila), Robyn McIntyre (Raymond); grandchildren, Christopher Gaffney (Krista), Joshua Estep (Rachel), Michael Gaffney, Katie Garcia (Ray), Heather Cutie (Ed), Amanda Barrera (Luis), Shelby Estep (Dell), Dakota Gaffney; 19 great grandchildren; and many loving friends.

She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 6pm at Fairmount Baptist Church, 9811 Independence School Rd, Louisville, KY 40291.
