Lorene Elliott, 92, was born on February 19, 1931 in Celina, TN to the late Bedford and Meadie (Stoops) Daniel, and passed away on November 28, 2023. Lorene was retired from the Old World Tobacco Co. and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Ervin Edsel Elliott; 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Judy Milliner (Danny), Glenda Jones (David), Norma Thompson (Joe) and Rosie Vincent (Lindell); sisters, Saraphine Tucker, Gladys Morley, and Reed Coomer; and a brother, James Daniel; 12-grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral service for Lorene will be held at noon on Monday December 4, 2023 in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-8 pm. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
