She was born in Louisville on May 10, 1927 to Christopher and Christina Himbaugh Freyaldenhoven, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded her in death by her husband, William Wells, her sisters, Regina Journey and Mary Alice Paschal; and her brother, Joseph Mettling. Maggie was a computer operator for McKesson Drugs.
Maggie is survived by 12 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces, nephews and friends. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Her funeral service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Maggie's name to the Feed the Children Program at the First Baptist Church, 813 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN, 47150.
