Marcella P. Pedro

Marcella Patrick Pedro, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 after a valiant and brave fight against cancer. She was born on December 18, 1938 in Bosco (Floyd County), Kentucky, to Alvin and Grace (Shepherd) Patrick. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Alvin G. Pedro, Sr.; her sisters Beth Robinette, Irene Woods, Ruth Martin, and Mazie Reinhardt; her brother Mark Patrick, and her grandson, Roy William Brown.

She is survived by her five children, Belinda Adanick (Suzanne), Michele Brown (Roy), Cheri Stillwell (Dean), Alvin G. Pedro, Jr. (Stephanie) and Eddie Pedro (Brandy); her 13 grandchildren, James Clements (Ashley), Michael Clements, Brittany Grant (Adam), Alex Adanick, Adam Adanick, Candace Spalding (Ryan), Sean Sims, Tyler Pedro (Kayla), Dustin Pedro, Elyssa Pedro, Mikie Cuebas, Aaron Stillwell (Brittney), and Savannah Greenwell; her 11 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Eunice Johnson, Kay Combs, and Vera Whiteside.

Marcella graduated in 1957 from Wayland High School in Wayland, Kentucky. She worked at Old Fitzgerald and was also a hair stylist. She eventually became a stay-at-home mom and loved her children dearly. All of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved their Mema and she loved them.

Her presence in all of our family will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a funeral service in Marcella's honor to begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Marcella will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
