Margaret Mae Quinn Binder passed away peacefully on April 14, 2018 at the age of 99 years young. She was born June 15, 1918 in Carnegie, PA where she grew up and married her high school sweetheart Roy in 1940.
She is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Amy Quinn, her husband Roy A Binder, her son Roy W Binder and a brother Karl Quinn (Marie).
A devoted wife, loving mother, good friend and hard worker, she was a homemaker, secretary and asst. dept. manager for Macy’s. She and Roy moved to Paramus, NJ after WW2 where they raised their family. Later they lived in Brick, NJ and then St. Petersburg, FL. Margaret moved to Louisville in 2007, living first at Brownsboro Park and finally at Parrs Rest. She was a quiet person but the rock of the family, always there for us. Her interests included sewing, needlework, gardening, and volunteering.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Sharon Jenkins and Linda Browne (Michael); grandchildren Aaron Jenkins, Kyle Browne (Meghan), Wade Binder (Tiffany) and Laura Derrigo (Chris); and great-grandchildren Connor Browne, Allison Browne, Joseph Derrigo and Sofia Derrigo.
Cremation was selected. Margaret will rest along side family at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. Love your family and live each day to the fullest.
