She was born August 29, 1928, in Madisonville, KY, the daughter of the late William S. and Pearl (Knight) Slaton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David L. Webb and her sister, Hazel Denton.
Margaret was a charter member of Watkins United Methodist Church and was also an original member of her Briarwood Bridge Club for over 60 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Locke (John); two granddaughters, Kristen Schmitt (Phil) and Whitney Rich (Jonathan); four great-grandchildren, Philip Schmitt, David “Drew” Rich, William Rich and Sam Rich; two nephews, Bill and Jim Denton; and four nieces, Jane Clowe, Cindy Nolan, Becky Wyko and Barbara Crane.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Watkins United Methodist Church, 9800 Westport Rd. Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM prior to the service on Sunday at the church. Private burial will take place at Cave Hill Cemetery.
