I also work at the Barnes & Noble on Hurstbourne, and am also both shocked and saddened to learn of Mark's passing. He was a regular here at the store, and like Jeremy and Jimmy, Mark and I also shared many fun conversations about old television shows. He certainly knew a lot! He always had something new to share. We were all concerned when he simply vanished, but nobody imagined the reason. My sincere condolences go out to his friends and family. Mark was very nice, certainly unique, and definitely missed.

I also work at the Barnes & Noble on Hurstbourne Parkway, and I can only agree with everything that Jeremy said here.  I was shocked to hear of Mark's passing, and deeply saddened.  He was in the store regularly, and I had the chance to talk with him many, many times.  We talked about old television shows, and shared a lot of laughs.  He was kind and funny and unique.  My thoughts go out his family and friends.  He was a wonderful person, and he'll be sorely missed.  Peace.

My name is Jeremy, I'm the manager of CDs and DVDs at the Barnes & Noble on Hurstbourne. I'm happy and proud to say that Mark was a friend of mine. His enthusiasm for old TV shows was unparalleled, and although we weren't always able to get him everything he wanted, we got him a lot, and I hope he enjoyed everything. We always joked that his collection was probably actually larger than the stock we carry at the store.

We saw him very often, and when he suddenly vanished it was certainly a cause for concern, but we never thought that it would be because he left us.I'm very saddened to find this out so late, but even more so because I never knew he was ill. I wish I could have told him what I'm typing here.

My heart goes out to his friends and his family, and if it's any measure of comfort, I want you to know that he is and will be missed.

My husband and I are so very upset at Mark's passing. We did not know he was ill. We met at Southeast and liked him so very much. Once in a while we would see him at Oxmoor and we always stopped and chatted with him.

I don't understand why this had to happen to him so young, but Harland and I know he loved the Lord and we know he is with Him now.

I was a member of the Light class with Mark for several years.  He had a sweet soul that I will never forget.  I feel fortunate that I was able to see him one last time recently at Auntie Anne's.  

May God comfort Mark's family and friends during this very difficult time.

So sorry for your loss of Mark, my heart and prayers are with you all. I know your hearts hurt but I pray knowing Mark is now at peace with his Lord brings comfort to you.

I can't believe Mark is gone.  He was such a constant presence at Southeast Christian Church.  We used to be in the same Bible study over at Jackie Howard Snyder's house and I'd give him a ride every once and a while.  I haven't gotten see him in a while, since my family lives in NJ now and I am sad that I did not get to talk to him one last time.  Good-bye Mark!  See you again in Heaven!  May all your family be comforted at this difficult time.  God Bless!

I will certainly miss your thoughts and insights during our Monday morning bible study.  I particularly enjoyed our rides back to your house and some of the things that you shared with me one on one.  Once I get to heaven, let's go find an oak tree and sit and talk for 50 years or so!  I'll miss you buddy!!
