Puckett, Martha Ellen, 90, entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2014. Martha spent much of her time as a social worker and operated Puckett Shell Service with her husband, Carl. She visited 49 out of the 50 states, enjoyed gardening, was a vibrant Christ follower, and a member of Beechwood Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Foster Carl Puckett Sr.; son, Foster Carl Puckett Jr.; and daughter Bonnie Sue Arvin.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Arvin, Robert F (Jessica) Arvin, and Bryan Puckett, September Puckett, Lori Puckett, and Ashley Puckett; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; one brother; and son in law, Robert L Arvin.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 18th at 1:30pm at Beechwood Baptist Church, 201 Biltmore Road, Saint Matthews, KY 40207. Visitation will also be held at the church on October 18th from 12pm-1:30pm.
Memorial donations in honor of Martha can be made to Beechwood Baptist Church.
