Martha Jean Taylor

Martha Jean Taylor, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 8, 2020. She was a homemaker, a great cook, wonderful mom and a fierce prayer warrior! Her hobbies were painting and drawing. All animals loved her & she loved them too. She was a very caring loving person, with a big heart that enjoyed helping others.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Norie Hines; adoptive parents, Dolly and Orlie Meredith; husbands, James Ferguson and Johnny Taylor; daughter, Teresa Ferguson; siblings, Mary, Estell, Geraldine, Jimmy, and Harlan.

Left to cherish Martha’s memory is her son, Johnny Ferguson (Jill); nieces and nephews, Donna Jetter(George), Marilyn Smith, and great and great-great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Clarence Ferguson(Martha); and several dear friends.

The Funeral Service will be Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday from 4pm-8pm and Friday from 1pm-2pm at the funeral home.
