

She was born on June 14th, 1935, to Walter Byron Lewis and Florence Krauss Lewis in Louisville, Kentucky.
Martha will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived by The Word every day of her life and was a baptized Episcopalian. When she couldn’t attend church in person, Martha could be found watching the services on TV. Martha was truly a caretaker of her family. She raised her four daughters and then went on to care for their children. She loved to sew, cook, and watch Westerns. Martha was generous, loving, tough and no-nonsense. She will be greatly missed.
Along with her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Floyd W. Tucker, Jr.; her brother, W. Byron Lewis, Jr.; her sister-in-law, Diane Lewis; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Minks.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Martha “Sue” Henthorn (Gerry), Stella Earl (John), Sandy Tilley (Randy), and Shirley Risinger (Mike); her brothers, Ronald Lewis and Norman Lewis (Dru); her sister, Patsy Minks; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Martha will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the same location on Thursday December 11, 2025, at 11:00AM.
She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
