Mary Hoffman

Mary Louise (Dettlinger) Hoffman, 99, of Louisville, entered eternal rest on October 15, 2024. Mrs. Hoffman was born on January 26, 1925 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Herman and Eugenia Dettlinger.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, George F. Hoffman; daughter, Linda Wilson; siblings, Rita Ogle and Herman Dettlinger, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Carol Hoffman, Richard Hoffman and George Hoffman Jr. (Charlene); granddaughters, Bethany Lawson (Don), Angela McGonnell (Rob), Annabeth Hoffman and Aubrey Hoffman; great grandchildren, Hailey Lawson, Abbie Lawson, Trey McGonnell, Thomas McGonnell and Gracie McGonnell; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Lantern at Morning Pointe and Hosparus for the loving care and attention they gave to Mrs. Mary.

Funeral service will be at 2 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy Louisville, Ky. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers/gifts donations may be made in honor of Mary to Hosparus.
