Mary Diane Larson

Mary Diane Larson, age 66, passed away on April 14, 2026. Born March 25, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, Mary was the daughter of Jimmy Lee and Edna Busby. One of five children, Mary was preceded in death by her brother David. She is survived by her brother Jim and his wife Debby, her brother Jeff, and her sister Cindy.

For many years, Mary worked in the food service industry, providing meals for the hungry with a smile while raising and caring for her two children. In her later years, she devoted herself to caring for her mother, Edna, and her stepfather, Robert Davis—offering steady presence, quiet strength, and the kind of love that shows up day after day.

Mary loved listening to music and living life to the fullest. She had a way of making the best of any situation, gently teaching those around her to do the same. Her warmth and resilience will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain close to the hearts of the many who loved her.

Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Sarah Bennett and Jason Busby; her grandson, Darryl; and her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 402195390, on April 20, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Arch L Heady Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy, on April 21, 2026, at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow.
