Mary Dolores Olson, 88, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was born April 12, 1926 in Louisville to the late Joseph and Rosella Wenz Halbleib. She was a founding member of St. Martha’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Willard A. Olson, two brothers, Joseph and Eugene Halbleib, two sisters, Rosella Hensel and Matilda Lynn.
Dolores is survived by her daughters; Susan Snyder (Bill) and Rosemarie Whitehouse (Chris), two grandchildren, Chris Snyder (Tammy Tayman) and Suzanne Richardson (Brad) and a great- granddaughter, Allie Marie Richardson. Special thanks to the staff at Heartland of Louisville, especially Angela, Tiffany and Corey for their loving care.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Martha’s Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Arch L Heady at Resthaven.
