Born on March 06, 1998, Matthew was the beloved son of Tiffany Mosley, James Mosley and stepson of Miranda Mosley.
Matthew was a force of nature. He lived passionately and embraced life with fervor.
Matthew impacted everyone he encountered. He believed deeply in treating people with love and compassion. He never met a stranger and anyone that had the opportunity to know him, found a loyal and devoted friend who would do anything, at any time, for anyone.
He touched so many lives with his charisma, contagious laugh, love for life, commitment to his trade and customers, and his deep love for his family and friends.
To know Matthew was to know his smile, the mischievous twinkle in his eye and his signature signs of goodbye he used as he made his way to his next adventure. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to snowboard, kayak, fish and enjoy the outside. He was a talented artist and could build or fix anything. He loved animals and often talked about wanting to have a sanctuary where he could provide a safe and loving home for any four-legged creature.
Left to cherish Matthew’s memory are his parents, James Patrick Mosley, Tiffany Lynn Mosley and stepmother, Miranda Estelle Mosley; his brother, Nicholas James Mosley (Annie); grandparents, Judy and David Doherty, Jerry Scott Mosley, Andy Evans, and Max and Liz Bartholomew; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; an extremely large circle of friends and work family; and his treasured dog, Bo; and cat, Waffles.
Matthew would want us to celebrate his LIFE, as he loved every moment of every day with intensity and optimism and so we will gather on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Sawyer Hayes Community Center. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00pm, followed by a Program of Remembrance at 3:00pm. We invite everyone to stay and participate in a “Celebration of Matthew” by being together, remembering, and sharing all of the things we love about him.
Honoring Matthew's head strong love of 4-legged friends, please donate to the Kentucky Humane Society in lieu of sending flowers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel, “Where Personal And Sincere Service Is Tradition.”
