Melissa was born on October 21, 1991 in Louisville, Kentucky to James Lloyd Houghton and Karen Marie Jones Houghton. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gilbert Jones and Lloyd Houghton; aunts, Debra Standridge and Angela Jones; and her uncle, David Jones.
Left to cherish Melissa's memory is her loving husband, Sandro Robles; parents, James and Karen Houghton; sister, Olivia Houghton; grandmothers; Marjorie Houghton and Robbie Jones; mother-in-law, Nelly Mercado, her "Mamacita"; brother-in-laws, Omar Robles and Rafael Robles; and her beloved cat, Nala, whom she adored and loved dearly.
A visitation for Melissa will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213, with a service to honor the life of Melissa to follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
