He was born on October 27, 1971 to Robert and Anna Ruth Ferriell in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a graduate of Iroquois High School in 1990. After graduating Michael had a 26 year long career at Louisville Metro Housing Authority where he found so many loving friends. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, and son. Mike adored his girls, his loving wife of 32 years, Cindy and his daughter Celina who he always called Bean.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Anna Ruth Cooksey, along with his brother Ronnie Ferriell.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Cindy, daughter Celina, his father and step-mother Robert and Eva Ferriell, two sisters Julie and Jan, his mother- in-law Susan Clem, and his father-in-law Bob Clem, along with his many nieces, nephews, and his furry companions, Harley, Patches, Archie, Tito, and Nyla.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday December 7, 2023 from 2PM-7PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to his girls, Cindy and Celina, to help with expenses.
