Reid, Michael Sam, 59, of South Louisville passed from this life on Sunday May 13, 2012 at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a machine operator for PSC Industries, and an Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Dorothy Reid. He is survived by his sons, Phillip (Amy), Zack, and Sam Reid; sisters, Christian Jo Reid and Jerilyn Dee Marmo; a brother, James E. Reid, III; a granddaughter, Olivia Reid; and special friends, Sissy and Dawn. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Saturday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with cremation to follow. A committal service with military honors will be held at 10 am Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
