Mickey is preceded in death by his wife Donna Scheich Riggle; his son: Stephen Michael Riggle; his brothers: Ben Riggle & Wayne Riggle.
Mickey is survived by his children Annette Butler (Steve), David Riggle (Emlyn), Kyle Riggle (Jill) and Jill Marshall (Jason); 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Joan Shircliffe (Tony), Peggy Mattingly (Robert) and Charmaine Thompson (Michael).
Mickey graduated from Saint Xavier High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired pipefitter and a member of Pipefitters Local 502.
Mickey was a faithful & loving husband, father & grandfather. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church & deeply devoted to his faith in Jesus Christ; his Lord & Savior.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Louisville chapter of Right to Life.
A service in Mickey’s honor will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218 with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11-2 PM at the funeral home.
