Mildred L. “Millie” Goins, 82, passed away December 13, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Lula Broughton. Millie was a member of the PeeWee Valley Baptist Church. She also worked for Jefferson County Public Schools as a security guard for 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved niece: Angela Broughton.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Danny Goins (Melanie), Donna McClure (Tim), David Goins (Carol), and Diane Allen; her 6 grandchildren; her 6 great-grandchildren; and her brother: Russell Broughton (Pat).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana 502 Hausfeldt Ln, New Albany, IN 47150.
A memorial service will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218 with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
