ROBERSON, NELSON, 85, of Shively, passed from this life on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a native of Mason County, KY, a retired supervisor at Philip Morris, served as an MP at Ft. Knox in the Army and a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church for over 55 years. He loved his church and enjoyed UK sports and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Roberson. He is survived by his children, Karen Huffman (Rex), Ken Roberson and Toni Roberson. A service to celebrate Mr. Roberson's life will be held at noon Monday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
