He was a retired Air Force Veteran and past president of the Air Force Sargent’s Association
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Satoka Osawa Simon; son Charles Simon (Lisa); grandchildren Lori Anne Pouppeville(Arnaud) and Debbie Marie Curfman; brother Paul Simon (Janet); sister Mary Lou Bond; great-grandchildren Aidan Curfman, Connor Curfman, and Nathanial Pouppeville.
His funeral service will be 12:00 PM Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Radcilff, KY. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
