Norma Jean Helm

Norma was born on May 5, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Martha Hess. She worked in healthcare being a retired nurses’ aide. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, crochet & watching Western T.V. shows & movies.

Her husband, Robert L. Helm & sister, Sharon Sounders, precede Norma in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Robin (Mike) Parker & Christy (Ronald) Smith; 7 – grandchildren, Alisha (Austin) Whobrey, Phillip (Emileigh) Parker, Christian Smith, Madison Smith, Conner Smith, Makayla Smith & Madison Frazier; 3 – great – grandchildren, Bayleigh Whobrey, Emma Whobrey & Little Phillip Parker; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Garden of Honor of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums, where she will rest eternally alongside her husband, Robert. Visitation will be held on from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
