

She was the former Norma Virginia Kitterman of Corydon, IN. She had worked at H.A. Seinsheimer’s & M. Fine and Sons Shirt Factory, New Albany, IN, the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, IN and General Electric Co in Louisville where she retired as a computer room secretary, Bldg 1 in 1985 after 27 years of service.
Norma was born in Corydon, Indiana and graduated from Corydon High School in 1947. She has been married to Alva Rainbolt Jr.; Claud Ray Alexander and James Kay Hollcroft Jr. She was Methodist by faith and had attended Perseverance Chapel United Methodist Church in Corydon and Okolona Baptist Church in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Kitterman in 1959; her mother, Eddie Mae Young Kitterman Deutsch in 2008; and her son, Ray Alexander in 1999.
Norma is survived by her son, Gregory Rainbolt; a sister, Opal (Rolland) McKibben; three grandchildren, Jason Alexander, James (Amanda) Alexander and Christa (Ryc) Davis; six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Landon, Hope and Daici Alexander and Jonathan and Amy Davis.
A Celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
