He was employed with Rohm and Haas for 30 years and retired on January 31, 1990, He also served in the Merchant Marine during the Korean War.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents: Tony and Silvia Johnson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years: Ida Johnson, their children: Sandra Johnson and Perry Johnson (Victoria), grandchildren: Camille, Jeanelle and Micah, great-grandchildren: Christiana, Makaylee and Hunter.
A funeral service to celebrate Norman’s life will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation starting at 11am Tuesday until funeral time.
