It’s hard to believe you’ve been gone 2 yrs. You and your family has been there for our family since 1963. And you and I have known each other for years. My husband and I can not thank you enough for being there for us. May you Rest In Peace.

Our Family has known Doug since he started working for OD White’s Funeral Home. Our heart is sadden as I was just told he passed away. Doug always treated our family members with compassion and was truly a good man. Our prayers go out to Beverly, his sister’s and Mrs. White. Now Doug is soaring high with his Dad and  brother in law David Brown.

Doug had a smile for everyone! He and Freddy were always looking for some kind of mischief to get into.  He had a huge heart for his puppies, and always made us laugh... You will be missed by many! R.I.P.  Doug.

Condolences to Doug’s wife, mother Beverly and sisters Laura and Cathy. He loved his family including his nieces and nephews.  His laugh was infectious. I always liked his larger than life personality. Fly high Doug!

       I was so very sorry to read of Doug's passing.  I know it is a difficult time for all of your family.
       Doug was especially kind and thoughtful toward us when our dad passed away.  After the funeral, I showed my children their grandfather's crypt  only to discover that the cemetery had opened the wrong crypt.  We were upset but Doug took charge and assured us that he would not leave the mausoleum until he had seen that Dad was placed in the correct crypt.  We were truly grateful for his help.   Doug was so reassuring and it was a comfort to know that we could depend on him to take care of the problem.
       I am very sorry that I was not able to come to the visitation.  I just wanted you to know that I’m thinking about all of you and praying for you.

We remember Doug as one of our SLCC youth group kids when we were the high school youth sponsors.  Good memories! 

"Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn."  (Romans 12:15).  We mourn with you today--our hearts are made heavier by your family's sorrow.  We will be  praying for God's comfort upon your life in the days to come. so many great memories with Doug. One of my favorites was when we all got together at my house to watch the 1986 National Championship. [ GO CARDS].  After the game we all got in the limo Doug had brought and went down to the U of L campus to celebrate! Oh what a night. You will be missed by us all old friend.

Doug   and I were CAL classmates in the 9th and 10th grade.  Even though l didnt  know him all  that well, l must admit that my heart fluttered every time l was around himI
A snappy (yet humble!) dresser, he was the envy of us all by being the first in our Class to have a car of his own (white camero)
A job well done here on Earth! Will see you again  one day!









I’ve known Doug since he was a baby and my grandmother, Mrs McKinney baby sat for all the White children. We remained friends as we grew into adulthood. He was one of the sweetest, kindest guys you would ever want to meet! My thoughts are with his wife, Rhonda , mom Beverly and sisters Cathy and Laura. You will be missed. Peace Doug♥️🙏🏼

I will always remember our shenanigans when I'd come down to visit Grammy and Grandaddy. I can't believe that it's been 35 years since our last get together. What a blast we had!

Doug was always the cool guy at CAL with his Camaro and his hair just so. Underneath his cool exterior was a sweet guy. I spent some time chatting with him at CAL’s homecoming in 2018. I think he followed our team and was proud when they won state not once but twice. He knew he would have been on the team if we had one back in our days there and he’d have been the star! Rest In Peace Doug, the class of 1982 will not be the same without you. Praying for your wife and your entire family.

At Christian Academy (Rock Creek in the early 80s...Our little Awesome school) When Doug White! Sang Oh Happy Day! During Chapel! To this day! An unforgettable memory. He had to have been filled with The Spirit to do That for us!!!

Doug, you always had a smile and hug for me, sometimes even a kiss if we had some adult  beverages in us. 
While it has been many years since we have crossed paths, your memory puts a smile on my face.
