After high school Paul served in the US Navy where he proudly served his country. Paul spent most of his career as a machinist for International Harvester until the Louisville Plant closed and he transferred to Navistar in Indianapolis, earning the respect of his colleagues through his hard work and dedication.
Outside of his work life, Paul found joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper always at peace in nature and enjoying the simplicity it offered. His love for these activities was only matched by his deep love for his family. Paul cherished spending quality time with his family, teaching them the value of nature and the importance of family bonds.
In addition to his love for the outdoors, Paul was a passionate supporter of UK sports. Whether cheering on the Wildcats with his brother Lawrence or proudly wearing his UK caps, he was always a loyal fan, proudly rooting for his team. Paul’s other pastimes were piddling in his garage, feeding the cats in the park, whistling tunes, and caring for his beloved pets.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Mudd; nephew, Mark Zimmerer; and fur baby, Fifi.
