

Phyllis married the love of her life Charlie on October 17, 1959 and spent 63 and a half wonderful years married together, raising a family, being involved with friends and the community, and traveling throughout the United States, Mexico, and Caribbean.
She was a member of St. Stevens Lutheran Church and spent time at a variety of jobs over the years, but spent the majority of her time as a homemaker and mother. She loved sports, especially college sports, and was an avid University of Louisville fan. She really enjoyed being part of the Masonic community, the Square Club, Kosair Shrine, the Hillbillies, and the Ladies Oriental Club.
Preceding Phyllis in death are her husband Charles H Boston Sr; her parents Phillip A, Goodman and Grace L. Goodman (Warren); brother Jack C. Goodman; and sister Pauline E. Hall.
Phyllis is survived by her son Charles H Boston Jr. and his wife Rebecca Lynn Boston (Brainer); daughter Patricia Ann Boston; grandchildren Emily Nicole Boston, Charles Andrew Boston, Sabrina Rose Samora, and Elizabeth Sophia Samora, sister Catherine E. Sommers, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Saturday November 11, 2023 from 3PM-8PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel the following day on Sunday November 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Phyllis will be will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, at Resthaven Memorial Park.
A reception will be held at the home of Charlie and Becky Boston following the Service on Sunday November 12, 2023. 10109 Westwego Place, Louisville, KY, 40299. All are welcome.
