Phyllis was a woman of great Faith and did her best, with God's help, to follow Christ's example. Music
and laughter were daily bread to her. Attention to detail was her forte, which showed, in her career in banking, her musical abilities, and in her (sharp) dress. This attention to detail lasted to the very end, as she directed us in handling all her affairs.
Her family agrees she was thoughtful, loving, and kind in all the roles she played in life. She enjoyed living on the sunny side of life, and hopes the same for all of you.
Phyllis would like to mention these special people, in her life: Violet, Ethel, Betsie, Andrew, Jeremy, Jiggs, Geri, Carolyn G., David, Nancy, Holly, Megan, Mary Ann, Bob, Sharon R., June, Jerry, Jim, Billy, Bill C., Joanie, Jo, Linda, Janice, Susan m., all her highschool classmates, all her Sunday School class, Everyone on Princess Way past and present, the EMTs, and the many Nurses and Doctors, and Staff of all kinds at Norton Audubon ER and ICU, that gave her their best efforts, in her last days.
In case we missed anyone, one of her last statements was “I want you to tell all my family and friends, even the little kids, that I love them.”
A service to celebrate Phyllis’ life will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, on Friday, April 15th, at 12 PM, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Garden East Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Friday until the time of the service.
