Reta Mae Gaddie

Reta Mae Gaddie, 81, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Victor and Virginia Thompson in 1936 in Island Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Kenneth Gaddie and grandson, Cory Hillerich. Reta was the youngest of seven children; her sister Martha Greer survives her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Vanessa Hillerich(Mark), Cheryl Gaus, Denise Greene(Terry), Regina Shupe(David),Gregory Gaddie(Stephanie); nine grandchildren, Scott Hillerich, Jessica Hartnett(Chris), Anthony Shupe, Steven Shupe, Derrick Greene, Matthew Greene, Travis Greene, Aubrey Albanese(Sean), Daniel Gaus; three great grandchildren, Leland Greene, Layton Greene, Reese Albanese, and a host of many other family members and friends. A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Reta will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 12pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son FH. 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219. Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1-8pm and Thursday from 10am until time of the service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
