Dick worked for JCPS as a custodian for six years. He was an avid University of Louisville fan and enjoyed comic books and Superheroes; he especially loved Marvel and DC movies.
His mother Suzanne Wilson, grandfather, Donald Jones, grandmother, Gloria Sanders, and father-in-law, Cooper Thomas preceded Dick in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of twenty-two years Emily French, son, Jacob French(Isabelle), daughter, Julia French, father, Ricki French(Terri), siblings, Rusty French(Tammy), Madison Brann(Jeremy), Candace Warren, Tracey French, Joseph Richard(Christy), and Michael French; grandmother, Norma Jones, step father, Roger Wilson, and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 12-3pm with a service at 3pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219, after the service the visitation will continue until 8pm.
