Robert Michael Beckman

Robert "Bob" M. Beckman, 70, passed away on Dec. 21. Bob was an avid golfer who enjoyed music and being around his bar family at New View Bar and Grill. Preceding him in death was his wife, Mary Ann; his parents Don and Marian Beckman; father and mother-in-law, Sylvester (Sy) and Thelma (Boots) McClung and sister-in-law, Mary Beth (Betsy) Beckman. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Brett (Denise), Ben (Angie), Lily (Timmy), 8 grandchildren; 7 brothers and one sister. A visitation service will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218, from 3-8pm Thursday Dec. 27. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Louisville, Cedar Lake Lodge, ALS of Louisville, or Spina Bifida Association of KY.
