Robert Lee Bryant, 91, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Bob was very handy and spent many hours helping others. He built 2 different pontoon houseboats. Bob worked at DuPont for 35 years and has been retired 34 years. In his early years of retirement he enjoyed camping with his DuPont group then he went on to build a house and 2 barns in Trimble County where he had his cows and calves that he bottle fed. He loved helping other mow their fields and spending his winters in Florida where he was on the Board in Park Hill Estates. He never met a stranger and will be missed by everyone especially his family.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Nathan Bryant; 5 brothers, Hobert, Homer, Jim, Bill, and John; 2 sisters, Mary and Willie Mae.
Left to cherish Bob’s memory is his loving wife of 68 years, Elsie Bryant; daughters, Terri (Steven) Herberger, Donna (Daniel) Wheat; 6 grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Coriell, Christen (Bruce) Hunt, Tony (Sarah) Herberger, Katie (Joshua) Selby, Andrew Herberger, Nick (Jordyn) Herberger; 10 great-grandchildren, Zach, Zane, Olivia, Jordan, Tyler, Samantha, Riley, Paxton, Allison, and Henry ; and several close friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. The Committal Service will be private.
