

Born April 2, 1933 in Louisville, Mr. Ferguson was a 1950 graduate of Flaget High School, a retired electrician for International Harvester, a member of I.B.E.W. Local #369 and a veteran of the US Navy and Merchant Marines. Mr. Ferguson was a member of the Moose Lodge #5, Bop Club, and the South-End Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. An avid outdoorsman, having hunted and fished from Ontario, Canada to Destin, Fl, he was most well known as one of the best duck hunters on the Ohio River and an accomplished bass fisherman on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee.
He was preceded in rest by his wife of 37 years, Mary Grace Ferguson. They were constant, loving companions and enjoyed traveling together to many locales.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his siblings Jackie Coyler (Bob) of port St. Lucie, Fl, Dody Walters and Ronald Ferguson (Sue) of Louisville, and Russell Ferguson (Sheri) of Birmingham, AL; as well as many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be on Monday at 10am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, with interment following at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8519 Preston Highway, on Sunday from 3pm until 8pm.
