He was born on April 10, 1940, to Roscoe C. and Katherine H. Hatfield, in Corbin, KY.
Robert is survived by his four children: Jim (Angela) Hatfield, Cathy Hatfield, Patty (Steve) McQueen, Cindy (Todd) Chamberlain; his grandchildren: Pam (Wesley) Young, Lexy Hatfield (Jackson Fickert-Rowland), Brandon McQueen, Bratcher Chamberlain, Payton Chamberlain, Christopher Hartman; his great-grandchildren: Lakin, Charley, Presley, and Bentley Young, Dustin Hartman; his sister Betty Sue (Norman) Morriss, nephew David (Laura) Morris, and niece Rachel (Andrei) Galvez.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe C. and Katherine H. Hatfield; wife Linda Hatfield; brother A. Charles Hatfield; mother-in-law Juanita (Ernest) Tarter, and father-in-law Ira (Lottie) Fraim.
A funeral service for Robert will be held on June 3rd at 12:00pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on June 3rd from 11:00am until service time.
