He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Orkies; beloved children, Robin Hawthorne, Laurie Dunaway, Stephen Orkies and Jennifer Orkies and grandchildren, Isaiah and Megan Hawthorne.
A celebration of life service will be held Noon Thursday at St. Martin of Tours Church, 639 S. Shelby Street with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Wednesday at Evergreen Funeral Home.
