

Robert "Bob" Joseph Wade Sr., born on January 20, 1942, passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 83. A resident of Louisville, Kentucky, Robert was a respected chemist for General Electric, leaving a legacy of dedication and hard work.
Robert was born to the late Joseph and Margaret Wade of Louisville Kentucky. He was a committed Boy Scout leader, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a proud Freemason. His passion for life extended beyond his professional achievements, as he was an avid runner and sang in the Thoroughbred chorus.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia, and his children: son Robert Wade Jr. and daughter Deanna Hansen (Dean). He is also survived by his brothers Leslie Wade (Sharon) and Michael Wade (Karen), and his sister Iva Paulette (Mike); his grandchildren, Brittany Graham, (Aaron), Cortney Hartnett (Lee), Kelsy Hartnett (Binney), Jessica Donahue (Ben), and Robert Eldorado Wade, along with his great-grandchildren Tadan Browner (Jaylann), Olive Murphy, Violet cecilia, Landon Donahue, Greyson Donahue, and step-great-grandchildren Xavier Hansen, Alessio Castellano, Mason, and Jack Miller will cherish his memory. Robert's brother, Louis Wade, preceded him in death.
Visitation for Bob will be held at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, located at 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, on October 10, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral service for Bob will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025, at 12:00pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Bob's honor to the St. Jude Children's Hospital
